angle-left EuroXR Summer School 2026

The Augmented and Virtual Reality Laboratory (AVR Lab) of the University of Salento proudly contributed to the organization of the EuroXR Summer School 2026, held from 22 to 26 June 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Organized by the EuroXR Association in collaboration with AVR Lab and supported by the Alliance4XR Erasmus+ project, the Summer School brought together students, researchers, academics, and industry professionals for an intensive week dedicated to the latest advances in Extended Reality (XR) technologies and their real-world applications. The 2026 edition was locally hosted by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The program featured lectures by internationally recognized experts, hands-on laboratory sessions, and collaborative project activities covering a broad range of XR-related topics, including virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, engineering, healthcare, education, cultural heritage, and industrial applications.

As a member of the organizing team, AVR Lab contributed to the organization of the event, reaffirming its commitment to advancing XR education, research, and international collaboration. The Summer School provided an excellent opportunity for participants from across Europe and beyond to exchange knowledge, establish new collaborations, and experience the latest developments in immersive technologies.
